Hello everyone,

Hurray! I've been wrestling with my computer skills this month. I took a great vid of Bonnie on the sofa. It's so funny I really wanted to share it, very frustrating. Someone give me a paintbrush instead! Despite what the majority of people say, I find computers so illogical. Rather worrying..........makes me wonder what format's going on in my head?

Anyway, fingers crossed this vid will work. I've posted it on good ol' you tube. Bonnie has invented her own game of hiding under the sofa throw. Ideally, she likes to put a toy on the outside and rumble around the inside trying to feel it. Sadly, this is the without toy, version. Such a funny bunny. She's still quite jumpy, especially with strangers, but hopefully she'll calm in time. It's taken Suki a full six months to begin to relax with us humans. She has the personality of a deer sometimes, quite flightly.

Off to England soon for a week. Taking a warm coat :) Really though, since not really wearing trousers or a sweater/cardigan for over a year now I can't seem to find my warmer clothes? Where have they gone? Probably in a box somewhere going stinky.................

Oh the joy of my new Roland 700 gx piano! What an adventure in sounds that is! I'm SO rusty but I've bravely posted a little example of my rusty playing two weeks in. It connects to your computer (yes, computers again!) Can't seem to live without a computer these days, even though I seem to know so little about them..........But you can plug in a USB stick and play along to your own music. SO clever these days!

What the heck......I'll post my 'Skylark' vocal too. Thanks to Mick in the USA for helping me realize the beautiful lyrics to this wonderful song. A new one to my singing repertoire. This is another Hoagy Carmichael song. So many of my all-time favourite songs were written by him. The lyrics were written by Johnny Mercer of his love for Judy Garland.
