Hello bloggers!

Here's a little shocked face for you, because my GOD where has all this weather come from? Doesn't the world know it's March?

These last five days we've had on and off blizzards, too; culminating in one foot of snow! Everything here in Fribourg, Switzerland looks like a Christmas card. It is too cute! But getting a little difficult now.

Of course our dog Axle is in doggy heaven. He keeps looking at us with bafflement, thinking: "why aren't they out playing in the snow!" Honestly, you can see it in his face. Every time we get up, his head gets up expectantly, from his resting place: which is usually his own sofa!

So it seems that our dog is deciding when the walks are, at the moment.

I was watching the neighbouring children play in the snow. "They're making a snowman, ahhhhh!" I said, watching the white landscape from the upstairs window. But, apparently Swiss children don't make snowmen. Because when I returned later, I saw it was actually a small igloo!! Honest! They had both crawled inside. Well, maybe Swiss children have a greater sense of self-preservation, due to the inclement weather. But usually, Fribourg doesn't get much snow, since we are quite low here.

Look at that poor little bird on our bird-table. Doesn't he look baffled? He is sitting on a huge chunk of bread, so his belly is starting to look a little fat for a sparrow. You never usually see fat birds, do you? Anyway, I was surprised to see him feeding last years baby bird. I didn't realize sparrows continued to be weened so long, did you? And only a few days ago in the sunshine, they were thinking friskier thoughts. I bet they're not frisky now. Back to survival again, I guess. Many of them seem to hide in that there hedge. But look, it's about a foot deep.

Enough of snow. What about art?

'Umbrella Days' rainy city painting, by Laurel Moore

Berne, Switzerland.

This Limited Edition is up and ready for you now. And only 250 will ever be made.

Original Weimaraner dog painting.

Gorgeous Weimaraner painting. My first Weimaraner, in fact. He's a cutie, too. I just like saying Weimaraner, because it's a nightmare of a word to say or spell. I've finally mastered it. It took a lot of tries though. This is an ORIGINAL painting available at www.boundlessgallery.com the premier online art gallery.

So fill your house with beautiful art!  I do. Thankfully I have a lot of paintings screaming for a wall though!
